Welcome our new Executive Director

EPIC’s newest leader, Executive Director LeeAndra Khan, is an accomplishedHeadshot of LeeAndra Khan educator who has served in a variety of roles throughout her career including CEO, principal, assistant principal, and math teacher. A proud South Sider and graduate of Chicago Public Schools, LeeAndra is a proponent of school choice and is deeply committed to providing opportunities and environments that enable students of color to maximize their potential.

LeeAndra began her career as a civil engineer, working for 10 years at some of Chicago’s top engineering firms. Her passion for improving the lives of Chicago youth compelled her to transition to the education sector 15 years ago.

LeeAndra has the perfect blend of the passion, experience, knowledge, and dedication that we need to continue EPIC’s upward trajectory. We are fortunate that she will be leading our school to new heights of success.

A lot has changed in our city due to the double epidemic of the coronavirus and civil unrest, which have disproportionately impacted lower-income and communities of color like ours. However, LeeAndra’s commitment to ensuring that our students excel remains the same. LeeAndra embodies resilience (like our students) and remains steadfast in her efforts to lead our school through these challenging times.

Please join us in warmly welcoming LeeAndra to the EPIC family! Learn more about this talented educational leader by reading her bio below.
