Crew & Community
Crew is a student’s family within the EPIC community. Small groups of 17 students and a teacher start off each morning together from freshmen through senior year. Students start each day by calling students who are late, publicly reflecting on what motivated them to come to school, engaging in teambuilding activities, discussing teen issues, and supporting each other in times of need. In addition, the Crew Leader will serve as the connection to each student’s family, check-in on student progress, and act as an advocate for students in difficult academic and social situations.

Community is a time when all students on a grade level come together once per week to share talents, make announcements, extend appreciations to students or staff that helped or inspired them, and take responsibility for unhealthy decisions.
